Different Deposit Characteristics
Deposits in gasoline engines are typically gum and varnish from fuel oxidation. In diesel engines, buildup tends toward soot and denser combustion residue.
That difference determines which solvent type is effective for each system.
How to Choose
- Check formula compatibility with your vehicle fuel type
- Match the dosage to actual tank capacity, not an estimate
- For vehicles with irregular service history, start with a tighter interval
Timing the Application
Apply before refuelling so the formula mixes evenly as the tank fills. Applying to an already-full tank produces less even mixing.
